Pre-Treatment Guidelines: How to Prepare
To get the best results and minimize side effects, follow these guidelines before your session:

❌ Shave the treatment area 12-24 hours before your session (do NOT wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams).
❌ Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and acids (AHA/BHA) 5-7 days prior to your session.
❌ Discontinue antibiotics or light-sensitive medications (consult your provider if unsure).
❌ Avoid caffeine or alcohol 24 hours before treatment to reduce skin sensitivity.
❌ Do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup to the treatment area on the day of your session.
What to Expect During & After Treatment
During Treatment:
A cooling gel is applied to the skin, and the SHR handpiece glides over the area, delivering gentle pulses of heat. The treatment is quick, comfortable, and virtually painless—many describe it as a warm massage!
After Treatment:
- Mild redness or warmth is normal and fades within a few hours.

Who is NOT a Good Candidate?
Contraindications & Medical Restrictions
